Symbolizing the power and strength of the Thai kingdom, elephants guard this photo album by Yooprai Kaewtui. Together in the rain forest, an elephant family frolics in the shade. The relief figures center a photo album with a faux wood texture engraved to decorate the saa (mulberry) paper covers. Working with traditional saa paper, or mulberry bark fiber, the artist crafts this photo album with traditional Thai appeal. The album's charm resides in its environmentally sustainable nature and handcrafted process, featuring 18 saa paper pages designed to hold a total of 36, 4x6 photos in a horizontal direction. The pages feature photo corners.
